Job summary

EMIT Technologies, Inc. in Nebraska is seeking a Cabinet Assembly Technician to join the Electrical Assembly department. You will assemble, mount, and wire electrical control cabinets in accordance with mechanical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing orders.

You will verify connections, perform self-inspections for quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read drawings, and collaboration with the production team to meet daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in electrical cabinet assembly or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical components and wiring tools.
• Ability to use hand/tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills to view work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control cabinets according to manufacturing orders and production schedules.
• Mount electrical components and hardware using drawings.
• Wire components per schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Route and secure wiring per workmanship standards.
• Verify wiring connections and component placement.
• Perform self-inspections before transfer to next stage.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S principles.
