Job summary

Electrical is seeking experienced mechanics for a Breaker Technician role in the United States. You will install, maintain, and repair circuit breakers and electrical distribution systems across various settings.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and schematics, using hand tools and test equipment, and ensuring proper safety practices. Forklift operations may be required to move materials and support onsite jobs.

Qualifications

• Able to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Reads schematic, point-to-point and one-line wiring diagrams.
• General knowledge of electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of use of most small hand tools and power tools.
• Aptitude to learn electrical trouble shooting and painting (spray-booth).
• Must have basic knowledge of electrical-mechanical assembly work (charge, close and trip).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly: cleaning parts, cutting wire, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.
• Review documentation for correct and completed paperwork.
• Assemble and install electrical/electronic components per blueprints and diagrams.
• Use hand tools and test equipment; record test results.
• Maintain tools and safety protocols.
• Assist in loading/unloading vehicles with forklift to expedite business.
• Contribute to corrective/preventive actions within the department.
