Job summary

Helix Electric Inc. seeks an Electrical BIM Detailer Coordinator to lead BIM design for electrical and building systems on projects.

You will model electrical systems, support VDC coordination meetings, and ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. The role involves preparing electrical model content for coordination, creating shop drawings for the field, and maintaining strong communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical BIM experience in power systems/building infra.
• Portfolio with 1–3 projects showing coordination work.
• Must pass a Revit test and demonstrate BIM process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• BIM modeling of electrical systems for projects.
• Work under the direction of a VDC Manager and coordinate with disciplines.
• Adhere to BEP and prepare electrical model content for meetings.
• Create shop drawings for field use and support installation means.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication; possible field visits.
• Collaborate with superintendents and field personnel on site.
