Job summary

Actalent seeks a BIM Specialist Electrical for a data center project in Saline, MI. This onsite role converts electrical designs, redlines, and field information into accurate 3D Revit models and coordinated construction documents.

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure constructible models and timely delivery. Adhere to BIM standards (LOD 300-400) and drive efficient coordination on a fast-paced project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in BIM/electrical design or construction coordination.
• Proficient with Revit MEP for 3D electrical modeling and documentation.
• Experience with electrical systems in construction/design projects.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and coordinate electrical 3D models in Revit for data center.
• Model power, lighting, low and extra-low voltage systems; clash detection with Navisworks.
• Coordinate layouts with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams.
• Create and revise construction/shop drawings from models and redlines.
• Ensure constructability and adherence to BIM standards (LOD 300-400).
• Support onsite coordination meetings and BIM process improvements.
