Job summary

System One is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeler to create and maintain electrical BIM models for San Jose and Sacramento projects. You will collaborate with engineers and other design disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, strong Revit MEP and Navisworks skills, and a solid understanding of electrical systems. On-site work in Northern California with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as Electrical BIM Modeler or similar role.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
• Understanding of electrical systems and drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models using Revit.
• Create electrical layouts, power and lighting plans, and low-voltage models.
• Coordinate systems with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and perform clash detection.
• Produce construction drawings from BIM models.
• Ensure models comply with project standards and vendor protocols.
• Update models for design revisions and field changes.
• Organize project files and documentation.
