Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Electrical BIM Designer to join our team in Troy, MI. This role develops detailed electrical models and drawings using BIM tools to support design, coordination, and construction of electrical systems.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field personnel to ensure accurate, coordinated, and constructible designs. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks and NEC/NFPA knowledge are essential; 2+ years BIM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting in BIM/VDC environments.
• Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks; knowledge of Bluebeam a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC and NFPA electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D electrical models in Revit or Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication drawings including plans, sections, details.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other trades.
• Update models reflecting design changes and RFIs.
