Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking a skilled BIM Designer 3 to join our electrical VDC team. You will develop and coordinate 3D electrical models using Revit and lead BIM coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of BIM workflows, electrical systems, and collaboration on medium to large projects. You will prepare technical drawings, generate BOMs from BIM models, and help enforce BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Must have BIM coordination experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and BIM workflows.
• Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and refine 3D electrical models using Revit.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for seamless model integration.
• Maintain models per BIM execution plans and project standards.
• Identify and resolve clashes using clash detection tools like Navisworks.
• Prepare drawings and BOMs from BIM models for procurement and construction teams.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Support BIM workflows on medium to large projects.
• Enforce BIM standards and best practices across projects.
