Job summary

OEG, Inc. in Portland, OR seeks a BIM/CAD Coordinator to create and modify electrical project drawings using Autodesk Revit and related tools. You will translate markup into accurate shop drawings and coordinate with the design team.

This role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 5 years in electrical construction, and proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Trimble, and MS Office. You will manage multiple priorities and support field installation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CAD or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years' experience in electrical construction industry with knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting conventions.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical systems based on markup drawings and/or verbal direction provided by electrical detailers.
• Setup of Revit views and sheets in preparation for shop drawings.
• Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation.
• Utilize Bluebeam Revu software to markup PDF drawings and communicate with team members.
• Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties.
• Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or project websites (FTP, BIM 360, etc.)
• Check own work for accuracy before passing on to others.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
