Zusammenfassung

Astrion seeks an Electrical/Avionics Systems Integration Engineer, Journeyman, to support the HC/MC-130 Recap program at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field and three years of DoD experience, with a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Work involves multidisciplinary teams, system requirements, ICDs, and lifecycle sustainment, with about 10% travel. ACAT IC program duties include airworthiness, design reviews, and integration risk assessments

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with three years of DoD experience.
Degree must be from an ABET-accredited program.
Strong application of engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
Experience with industry-standard engineering tools, methods, and testing.
Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

Apply engineering expertise to support system development and lifecycle sustainment.
Resolve technical and maintenance issues across design, modification, and sustainment programs.
Conduct analyses of design alternatives and integration risks for decision-making.
Review and validate specifications, ICDs, data, and documentation for accuracy.
Develop system requirements, changes, and technical justifications.
Support airworthiness determinations and MIL-HDBK-516 compliance.
