Michael Foods, Inc., located in Bloomfield, Nebraska, is one of our only cage free facilities. The facility is located three miles outside of Northeast Nebraska's busiest community. Bloomfield is a haven for those who prefer small-town life over city living and is located less than 30 miles from recreation areas where you can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking and camping. Our location produces liquid egg product that is sent to our other facilities for further processing.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Electrical and Automation technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems for Bloomfield and Plainview farm locations. This position involves the proactive troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation systems, collaboration with internal and external resources, and active participation in our continuous process improvement initiatives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience:
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, installation manuals and governmental regulations.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as Amperages, Wattages and Voltages. Also conduit bending calculations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
