Job summary

Energy Smart LLC in North Carolina is seeking an Electrical Assistant to support a three-person crew on Solar PV and EV charger installs, with no roof work. You will help pull wire, install conduit, bend EMT, and ensure proper terminations in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of electrical experience, a clean background, and a valid driver’s license, plus the willingness to commute to multiple sites. Safety, teamwork, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-years electrical experience.
• Solar PV Installation Experience Preferred.
• Clean Background Check.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Must have valid Driver's License and the ability to commute to office or jobsite locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive ground rods.
• Install various types of conduit and cable systems.
• Pull wire and terminate electrical boxes.
• Bend and run EMT and PVC Conduit.
• Clean and organize the jobsite and work vehicle.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs, working in outdoors, in attics, and crawlspaces.
