Job summary

Zenith Systems is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our Electrical team to support planning, execution and finalization of construction projects. The role will involve analyzing specs, coordinating with clients and vendors, and estimating using Accubid software.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of electrical construction experience, strong communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work onsite at collaboration offices and contribute to project closeout

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of electrical construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other docs to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or foremen to discuss scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.
• Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.
• Review the estimate to check for errors and omissions.
• Client relationship building and business development.
• Work onsite at project collaboration offices.
• Assist with project closeout documentation.
• Track and maintain project logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss project scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.
• Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.
• Review of the estimate to check for errors and omissions.
• Client relationship building and business development.
• Work onsite at project collaboration offices.
• Assist with project closeout documentation.
• Track and maintain project logs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in electrical construction.
