Job summary

EPI Power is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to help lead a small project or scope within a larger project. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure profitable execution, while handling administrative and field construction activities on your assigned project.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in construction PM, experience with GMP contracts, and familiarity with data-center or large electrical projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with GMP contracts and change management.
• Experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large complex projects.
• Industry-related college degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM applications and BEP for projects.
• Ensure work stays within contract scope and obligations.
• Manage drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Prepare inspections, audits, and non-conformance logs.
• Track material delivery and project logs (buyouts, submittals, RFIs).
• Assist preconstruction planning and buyout processes.
• Create and manage scopes of work for subcontracts/purchase orders.
• Approve subcontractor and vendor pay applications.
• Assist with monthly project status reports and owner billings.
• Ensure subcontract amendments are executed; track change orders.
• Support project safety initiatives and compliance.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and record minutes.
