LUMA Energy, based in Puerto Rico, seeks an Asset & Equipment Engineer to govern technical requirements and lifecycle standards for major electrical equipment, ensuring reliability and interchangeability across the system. The role coordinates vendor engineering, integrates lessons learned into standards, and provides technical support for replacement and investment decisions.

Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager, this position executes routine technical activities and supports more complex

Formación

• BS in electrical engineering or technical field from ABET-accredited college.
• Two years of applicable experience; master's degree counts as one year.
• Ability to coordinate with design, field teams, and vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with specialized technical assignments and project support.
• Supports projects within scope, schedule, and cost.
• Supports review of functional specifications for completeness and practical limitations.
• Collaborates with design activities as a member of a multi-disciplinary technical team.
• Supports with basic work planning, budgeting and cost estimating.
• Supports development and updating single line diagrams, and design drawings, and equipment specifications. Supports material procurement.
• Supports QA/QC process.
• Provides technical support to field and construction groups.
• Assist with and improvement processes and standards.
• Collaborates with reporting, including presentations to work groups and management.
• Position may be required to work extended hours including major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
