Cummings Electrical is seeking an Electrical Assessor in Fort Worth, TX to lead hands-on assessments for new hires and existing staff in a simulated environment. You will document outcomes, mentor candidates, and recommend additional training to support promotion and skill development.

The role focuses on ensuring safety, accuracy in records, and collaboration with the training team to meet workforce demands and growth goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Electrical Journeyman license required.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical field work in the commercial industry.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Collaborative, results-oriented with relationship-building ability.
• Strong organizational and administration skills.
• Willingness to promote safety and compliance.
• Proficient with computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Assess electrical candidates on technical skills needed for safe field work.
• Determine employability and document training needs for onboarding.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to recruit candidates.
• Support workforce demands through efficient processes.
• Perform tests and maintain accurate assessment records.
• Verify qualifications to ensure timely certification.
• Identify skills meeting company standards across levels.
• Ensure equipment is safe and maintained properly.
• Advise on maintenance, repair and replacement of tools.
• Promote health and safety policies and compliance.
• Handle administrative work for each candidate.
• Acquire new knowledge and skills as needed.
