Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an Electrical Assembly Trainer to educate entry-level Academy students in fundamental electrical assembly skills. The role combines classroom instruction with practical demonstrations on the shop floor to build competent, safety-conscious technicians.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical background and can teach employees with little or no prior electrical experience in an active manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly, industrial electrical work, or panel building.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience training, teaching, coaching, or mentoring employees preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in classroom and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Train entry-level Academy students on fundamentals of electrical assembly and safe practices.
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction in electrical concepts, safety, measurements, and blueprint reading.
• Demonstrate proper use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Train on basic wire installation, routing, connections, and terminations.
• Teach trainees how to read electrical drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching, feedback, and documentation.
