Job summary

Plant Power & Control Systems is seeking an Assembly Technician II to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, wiring, testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical products according to engineering specs and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience interpreting schematics and working with mechanical assemblies, wiring, and diagnostic tools to ensure high-quality output and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Assemble electrical panels, switchgear, bus duct systems, and electro-mechanical equipment according to engineering specifications.
• Install and connect electrical wiring, control components, circuit protection devices, bus bars, relays, transformers, and related assemblies.
• Assemble mechanical components including frames, enclosures, brackets, mounting hardware, and support structures.
• Perform torquing, fastening, alignment, fitting, and mechanical adjustments to meet design specifications.
• Conduct functional testing, continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and other diagnostic procedures using electrical test equipment.
