Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an Assembly Technician (AISLE) to join the Omaha, NE team. The role involves reviewing diagrams to install electrical gear into metal power substations, including panels, disconnects, and outlets.

Expect lifting, wiring, and conduit fabrication with safety as a priority. The position offers 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday shifts with an hourly rate of $20.50–$29.52, and emphasizes teamwork, quality, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation; must live within 50 miles of Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Reference and interpret schematics to install electrical components into the metal structure of the substation building.
• Use power tools including drills, hand tools, measuring tape, and pipe bending/cutting tools as needed.
• Run and terminate wires to various electrical components (AC/DC panels, disconnects, terminal blocks).
• Perform lifting, overhead work, and work from ladders as required.
• Respond to change notices and customer-driven adjustments and development needs.
• Maintain safety, customer service, quality and productivity.
