Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician (AISLE) for the Omaha, NE team. The role involves assembling electrical components for metal power substations, interpreting schematics, and using drills, hand tools, and measuring devices to ensure quality and safety.

You will work in a team environment with potential overtime, including weekends. The position requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, and legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Run and terminate wires to various electrical components (AC/DC panels, disconnects, and terminal blocks).
• Support in pulling and terminating wires and assisting in the overall assembly process of the substation building.

Electrical components would include items like, AC panels, DC panels, battery disconnects, light switches and power outlets which will help power the building and meet state codes. Individuals will assist in pulling and terminating wires, preparing and fabricating conduit as needed and assisting in the overall assembly process of the substation building.Position does not apply to any electrical apprentice programs.In this function you will:• Reference and interpret schematics to install electrical components into the metal structure of the substation building• Use power tools including drills, hand tools, measuring tape, and pipe bending/cutting tools as needed• Run and terminate wires to various electrical components (AC/DC panels, disconnects, and terminal blocks)• Various operations may require lifting, overhead work, and working from a ladder• Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments and development needs• Focus on safety, customer service, quality, productivity• Must be willing to work overtime as required, including weekends• Focus on quality, customer service, safety, productivity.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger.Qualifications:Required:• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.• Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without out company sponsorship, now or in the future.• No relocation is being offered for this role.
