Job summary

Marlen is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to ensure equipment meets customer specs before shipment. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and service to plan inspections and support on-time delivery, including overtime and potential weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read schematics and wire to schematic specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and understand schematics including component recognition.
• Plan electrical assembly and wiring sequence from schematics.
• Assemble electrical junction boxes, connections, and components per drawings.
• Build and install control panels, perform startups, troubleshoot wiring issues.
• Wire complete machines and systems and document in-process inspections.
• Use hand tools safely; communicate issues to lead/manager.
• Ensure tasks meet budget and schedule; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement of processes and performance.
