Job summary

nVent in Solon, OH is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble electrical fastening products and components using your hands, machines, and a range of hand tools, following work instructions and blueprints.

Regular quality checks ensure parts meet our strict standards. You will work either alone or with a team, move production materials as needed, maintain equipment, and uphold 5S and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge in use of scales and manufacturing processes.
• Able to read and follow work instructions or blueprints.
• Experience assembling mechanical parts into finished products.
• Experience using hand and power tools in a light industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components per work instructions.
• Complete work per drawings, routings, and specifications.
• Perform regular quality checks to meet standards.
• Maintain and move production materials as needed.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized per 5S standards.
