Job summary

Chromalox, Inc. is seeking an assembler to build electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies per customer specs. You will follow drawings and blueprints, route wires, install components, and perform insulation and crimping tasks with hand tools and powered equipment.

You will also test assemblies with basic equipment, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts, collaborating with teammates to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
• Ability to measure using standard tools and devices.
• Good verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Basic math skills for unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Assembles products by following drawings and customer specs to establish assembly methods.
• Routes, wires, assemble, install components using hand tools and equipment.
• Cuts wire to specified lengths and crimps connections.
• Conducts functional tests with ohmmeter and other instruments.
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Supports TPM and continuous improvement.
• Cross-trains across stations as production needs require.
