Job summary

Aerotek in York, PA is seeking an Electrical Wiring Technician to build and wire electrical systems for custom machinery, reading schematics to assemble components and troubleshoot equipment.

You will wire cabinets and components, drill and tap mounting holes, and perform electrical testing in a hands-on, first-shift role with overtime opportunities. Work onsite with a stable, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical wiring in industrial settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Willingness to perform precise wiring and testing.
• Comfort using basic electrical hand tools and meters.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical systems for custom machinery using schematics and blueprints.
• Wire electrical cabinets, equipment, and machine components.
• Drill and tap holes for mounting electrical components.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Use volt/ohm/amp meters and wire strippers on the shop floor.
• Assist with machine controls and electrical system installation.
• Collaborate with experienced teammates to ensure proper operation.
