Responsibilities
  • Fabricate electrical and/or mechanical assemblies.
  • Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
  • Perform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends and other simple cable operations.
  • Solder wires and other electronic components.
  • Perform assembly operations or inspection under microscope and/or magnifying device as required.
  • Assemble bearings, pistons, O-rings, seals, springs etc. into machined housings.
  • Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments.
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies
    • At least 1 year of experience using precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read, understand, and accurately interpret basic blueprint drawings and follow written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
  • Must be capable of passing Ishihara Color Blindness (14 plates) and Jaeger Level 1 vision testing
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
