Job summary

Kelly Services in Andover, CT is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a premier electronics manufacturing client. The role offers 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and a pay rate of $20.00/hr.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. You will assemble PCBs using through-hole and surface-mount techniques, build cable/wire harnesses, perform electromechanical assembly, read drawings and BOMs, and ensure IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Able to sit/stand for extended periods and lift 25–35 lbs.
• ITAR requirements: U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

• Assemble PCBs using through-hole and surface-mount techniques, including hand soldering.
• Build cable and wire harnesses per engineering drawings.
• Perform electromechanical assembly of enclosures, chassis and control panels.
• Read BOMs, schematics and work instructions.
• Inspect own work to IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Follow ESD and safety practices.
