Job summary

Aerotek in Windsor, CT is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a contract-to-hire position. You will assemble electrical and mechanical subassemblies, including wiring, harnesses, and PCBs, using hand tools and testing for quality.

You’ll read schematics, gather parts, solder, crimp, cut wires, and label assemblies for traceability, while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Onsite, shift-based production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with small-assembly using hand tools in production.
• Ability to attach wires and cables to components in a production setting.
• Experience testing wiring with continuity testers.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot at component level.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Read work instructions and schematics to complete assemblies safely.
• Gather materials and assemble electrical and mechanical subassemblies.
• Use screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers to assemble components.
• Attach wires to connectors and harnesses per specifications.
• Perform soldering on PCBs and cables; ensure high quality.
• Crimp connectors by hand or with machines; cut wires to length.
• Test wiring with continuity testers and label completed harnesses.
• Keep workbench clean; follow safety and quality guidelines.
