Job summary

IPG is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our Schaumburg site. You will assemble, build, and wire components to meet UL/NEC standards, interpret schematics, and verify functionality. This role requires formal electrical training or demonstrable on-the-job experience and strong English communication.

You will work in a safety‑driven shop environment, using hand tools and basic testing equipment, with opportunities for continuous improvement and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical training or on-the-job experience in the electrical field.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL, and/or CSA codes preferred.
• Ability to read/understand electrical schematics and create redlines.
• Verbal and written communication in English required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components per schematics to produce quality products.
• Travel to customer sites for installations, repairs, and retrofits as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical problems and test motors and relays.
• Follow safety and quality policies; print wire labels and document work.
