Job summary

Amphenol CIT is seeking an Electrical Assembler I in Minnesota to assemble electrical components and electromechanical products per specifications. You will use various tools and follow schematics to ensure high-quality production and safety compliance.

The role requires soldering experience, basic electronics knowledge, and the ability to read diagrams. You will work with engineers and technicians to resolve issues and participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing assembly operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical/ mechanical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
• Perform surface mount and through-hole soldering on PCBs.
• Wire electrical systems using hand/power tools and machines per specs.
• Inspect parts for defects and report issues to QC.
• Conduct basic testing on assemblies to ensure function.
• Identify and fix wiring/component issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Log assembly processes and test results for traceability.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
