Job summary

JBT Marel in Kingston, NY is hiring an Electrical Assembler to build and test electrical components for our food processing equipment. You will read blueprints, gather parts, and assemble, wire, and solder to precise specifications in a collaborative manufacturing setting.

You'll work with tools like crimpers, strippers, and drills, support prototypes, and help ensure safety and quality. Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship is required; salary ranges from $19 to $25 per hour,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical/electro-mechanical technology or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with test equipment and basic electrical theory.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete assemblies.
• Gather parts, tools, and materials for each job.

• Perform panel wiring and machine wiring per documentation.
• Test equipment and document results (test reports, NCRs).
• Support engineering with prototype builds.

This role is located atour KingstonFacility.

On a given day, you may:

Help build and test electrical components used in our equipment. If you enjoy reading schematics, working with your hands, and being part of a collaborative manufacturing team, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies
• Gather and verify parts, tools, and materials needed for each job
• Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications
• Perform panel wiring and machine wiring based on documentation
• Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs, etc.)
• Support engineering teams with prototype builds
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical, electro-mechanical technology, or equivalent experience
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and test equipment
• Experience using hand tools (crimpers, strippers, drills etc.)
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication skills

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly or a similar role

Mustbe authorized towork in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $19.00 - 25.00(hourly). Pleasenotethe salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience
