Job summary

JBT Marel in Kingston, NY is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build and test electrical components for our food and beverage technology equipment. You will read schematics, wire and solder to specifications, and assist with prototype builds in a collaborative manufacturing team.

The role requires an associate degree in electrical/electro-mechanical tech or equivalent experience, ability to read wiring diagrams, and hands-on tool skills. On-site position with a focus on safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies.
• Measure and verify parts, tools, and materials for each job.
• Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications.
• Perform panel and machine wiring based on documentation.
• Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs).
• Support engineering with prototype builds; assist troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
