Aida Engineering, Ltd. is seeking an Entry Level Electrical Assembler to join their team in Dayton, Ohio. This position involves observing and learning to perform the electrical assembly of components to production machinery, as well as modifying existing products to meet customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have an associates degree from a trade school or community college and some experience in capital equipment. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are crucial for success.

Associates degree from a trade school, community college or equivalent.
Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor and lift up to 60 pounds, without difficulty. Periodically lay prone under machinery or on knees for completion of electrical assembly tasks. Some ladder climbing. Periodically required to work at heights of 15 to 20 feet for machine wiring, assembly, or troubleshooting purposes. Visual acuity for reading machine dial gauges, electrical diagrams, blueprints and precision measuring instruments important. Auditory acuity to monitor machine sound changes in order to diagnose and remedy equipment problems. Subject to operating large machines, physical exposure from moving equipment, and machine parts. Skin subject to oil exposure.
Subject to frequent overtime requirements, changes in job duties, and assignments (often without much notice), constant or frequent deadline pressures. Ability to consider alternatives and make decisions. Capable of using shop floor computer terminals and data recording.
