Job summary

REV Group is hiring an Electrician in Brandon, SD to assemble under-dash harnesses, switch panels, and electrical components, program lighting per specs, and troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems on emergency vehicles. The role requires reading engineering drawings, using tape measures, and operating common hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of automotive electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and can work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1–2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform mathematical computations.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of electrical components.
• Programming the lights from engineering specs.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
• Reading specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec.
• Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks etc.
• Fix quality issues.
