The role requires reading engineering drawings, using tape measures, and operating hand and power tools. A high school diploma or GED and passing a drug/background check are expected, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and various electrical components.
• Program lights from engineering specs.
• Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
• Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
• Read specs to ensure trucks are built per spec.
• Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc.
• Fix quality issues.
