BESTAFF is hiring an Electrical Assembler in Indianapolis, IN on 1st shift. The role reads blueprints and schematics, builds electrical and mechanical assemblies, and prepares units for shipment. Responsabilidades

• Build mechanical, electrical, and shipping assemblies to customer, quality, and engineering specs.
• Read and follow blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics, work instructions, and job documentation.
• Prep fabrications for assembly by drilling, tapping, and cleaning.
• Check your work to ensure accuracy and speak up if a problem is spotted.
• Operate assembly equipment, hand tools, and power tools with minimal supervision.
• Keep accurate records, checklists, and logbooks, including QC testing and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare units and shipping conveyances for delivery.
• Operate and maintain a forklift.
• Keep workspace clean and organized using 5S.
• Participate in Lean and other process-improvement efforts.
• Support the Technical Support Specialist as needed.

BESTAFF is hiring an Electrical Assembler for a growing manufacturing partner in Indianapolis, IN — and they need someone now. If you know electrical systems, can read a blueprint and a schematic, and take pride in building it right the first time, this is your shot. you' ll earn $19/hr on an early first shift that gets you home by mid-afternoon, with a clear path to a permanent role.

What You' ll Do

• Build mechanical, electrical, and shipping assemblies to customer, quality, and engineering specs.
• Read and follow blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics, work instructions, and job documentation.
• Prep fabrications for assembly by drilling, tapping, and cleaning.
• Check your work to make sure every part is assembled right — and speak up when you spot a problem.
• Run assembly equipment, hand tools, and power tools with minimal assistance.
• Keep accurate records, checklists, and logbooks, including QC testing and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare units and shipping conveyances for delivery.
• Operate and maintain a forklift.
• Keep your work area clean and organized using 5S.
• Take part in Lean, Operational Excellence, and other process-improvement efforts.
• Support the Technical Support Specialist and help in other areas as business needs shift.
• Follow all plant and corporate safety policies and complete required training.

What You Bring

• Electrical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics (required).
• Trade school training, plus 1 year of hands-on experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven mechanical ability and/or machine operator experience.
• Ability to accurately use and read measuring tools.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in English.
• Familiarity with electronics, pneumatics, and basic computers is a plus.
