Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical apparatus of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas.

Starting at $20.75
1st Shift Monday-Thursday
5:55am - 3:25pm
1st Shift Friday (worked)
5:55am - 2:25pm

The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibilities listed below. In case of conflicting authority, the Incumbent shall escalate to the direct supervisor for resolution.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide basic tools for the position upon hire.
• Work in other assigned areas as needed.
• Follow Process Sheets (P-Sheets), understand electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters and power-up procedures.
• Understand and assist with assembly aspects of products.
• Maintain high efficiency and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good attendance record
• Task-oriented
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing and refrigeration (wrapping, piping, soldering, brazing, mounting)
• Good math skills, ability to convert decimals to fractions
• Ability to follow procedures accurately
• Read tape measures and parts lists, complete quality sheets
• Use power tools like drills and saws
• Obtain necessary tools: tape measure, screwdrivers, wrenches, copper cutters

Working Conditions

Mostly standing work, lifting up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs often, and up to 100 lbs occasionally with mechanical aids or team lifts. Involves fine hand work, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling, crawling, twisting, and periodic travel. May require extended computer use and manual data entry.

FLSA: Non-exempt | Full Time | 40 hours/week. Overtime may be required with short notice.
