1st Shift Monday-Thursday

5:55am - 3:25pm

1st Shift Friday (worked)

5:55am - 2:25pm

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to inspect, repair, install, and wire electrical apparatus of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas.

Authority Statement

The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibilities listed below. In case of a conflict of authority, the Incumbent shall escalate to the direct supervisor for resolution.

Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Provide the basic tools for the position in which they are hired.
  2. Understand and be willing to work in other assigned areas as work dictates.
  3. Follow Process Sheets (P-Sheets) and understand electrical schematics and BOMs.
  4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters and/or power up.
  5. Understand standard products and assist with assembly of products.
  6. Maintain high efficiencies and quality standards.
Qualifications
  1. Maintain high efficiencies and quality standards.
  2. Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  3. Good attendance record.
  4. Task-oriented.
  5. Preferred: previous manufacturing experience.
  6. Preferred: refrigeration experience and education, including wrapping, piping, soldering, brazing, and mounting refrigeration components.
  7. Good math skills, ability to convert decimals to fractions.
  8. Follow procedures accurately.
  9. Read a tape measure accurately.
  10. Read and understand parts list and fill out quality check sheets.
  11. Experience with power tools such as drills and saws.
  12. Ability to obtain necessary tools like tape measure, screwdrivers, wrenches, channel locks, copper cutters.
Working Conditions

Primarily standing work, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds continuously, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally with mechanical aids or team lift. Involves detailed hand work, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling, occasional crawling and twisting. May involve travel and extended periods at a desk or computer. Ability to manually input data and interpret screen images is required.
