Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Machine Builder to install and assemble electrical systems on OEM equipment in a heavy industrial setting. The role emphasizes reading schematics, wiring panels, and integrating control systems to ensure safe, reliable operation per customer specs.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of electrical experience, be skilled in panel wiring and conduit work, and able to work in a union shop environment. First shift, onsite in Hudson, OH.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an electrician or in electrical machine building.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Wiring panels and control systems for industrial equipment.
• Experience with rigid conduit installation.

Responsibilities

• Install switches, controls, conduits, junction boxes, wiring circuits on OEM equipment.
• Analyze and interpret electrical schematic drawings for layout and installation.
• Assemble and integrate electrical components to ensure functionality.
• Perform precise wiring of electrical panels and code-compliant installations.
• Install and wire electrical panels and control systems on machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and implement solutions.
• Configure and operate machinery to verify performance.
• Pull wire and mount boxes per schematics.
• Work with rigid conduit, including measuring, cutting, bending, and installation.
• Maintain safe use of hand and power tools during assembly.
