Job summary

JBT Marel in Kingston, NY is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build and test electrical components for our equipment. You will read schematics, work with your hands, and contribute to a collaborative manufacturing team on site at our Kingston Facility.

Qualifications include an associate degree in electrical/electro-mechanical technology, ability to read wiring diagrams, basic electrical theory, and experience with hand tools. Starting pay is hourly and depends on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete electrical assemblies.
• Maintain safety and quality by following work instructions and documenting results.
• Operate hand tools and test equipment, read documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies
• Cut, crimp, solder, and wire components as per specifications
• Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications
• Perform panel wiring and machine wiring based on documentation
• Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs, etc.)
• Support engineering teams with prototype builds
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
