BW Papersystems is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler / Electrician to work on large, custom-built machinery. You will read wiring diagrams, assemble components, wire control panels, and test systems to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of electrical wiring or installation experience.
  • 2-year degree or certification in electrical systems with 2+ years of experience.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
  • Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures.
  • Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards.
  • Inspect wiring for coding accuracy, proper termination, continuity, and identify shorts or grounds.
  • Assist in testing completed machines and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Document work to meet quality and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve quality, cost, or production challenges.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper care of tools & equipment.
