Job summary

BW Papersystems, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Group, seeks an Electrical Assembler for our Sheboygan, WI area facility. You will install, wire, assemble, and test electrical components on company-produced equipment, reading complex schematics and performing precise wiring and terminations.

You will lead and train teammates, participate in machine testing, and help identify improvements while maintaining safety and quality documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of electrical assembly or related industrial electrical experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
  • Assemble and wire control panels, switch boxes, terminal boards, and electrical systems.
  • Check wiring for proper coding, continuity, shorts, grounds, and terminations.
  • Participate in machine testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
  • Identify quality, material, and design issues and recommend improvements.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Lead, coach, and train less-experienced team members.
  • Maintain workflow, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime as required.

Job Description:

The Electrical Assembler installs, wires, assembles, and tests electrical components and control systems on company-produced equipment. The role requires the ability to read complex electrical schematics, perform precise wiring and terminations, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support machine testing.

Key Responsibilities
