Job summary

Shuttleworth in Huntington, IN seeks an Electrical Assembler to perform wiring and assembly for conveyor systems per engineering specs. The role includes mentoring less experienced workers and working under minimal supervision with growth opportunities within ProMach's Shuttleworth division.

Responsibilities cover wiring on panels, interpreting electrical prints, supporting testing cycles, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Travel to job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or 2–3 years of related maintenance or automation experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical practices and principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring on panels, devices, and conveyor systems.
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical, assembly, and pneumatic prints.
• Assist project lead assemblers throughout the build process from kickoff to final signoff.
• Assist Electrical Engineering during testing cycles and adjust as needed for customer acceptance testing.
• Wire electrical panels independently without supervision.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and quality; provide recommendations to keep projects on track.
• Support Quality Checkout and adhere to Shuttleworth standards.
• Identify issues and recommend corrective actions and design improvements.
• Lead, train, and mentor employees and contractors during onboarding.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Cross-train and assist other departments as production requires.
• Travel 20–25% to support installations and service calls.
