Job summary

Shuttleworth, based in Huntington, IN, seeks an Electrical Assembler to perform wiring and assembly of conveyor systems for the material handling industry. You will work under supervision, train others, and travel to support installations and service calls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with technical training or 2-3 years related maintenance/automation experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical practices and principles; knowledge of UL/CE standards and NEMA ratings.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring on panels, devices, and conveyor systems.
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical, assembly, and pneumatic prints.
• Assist project lead assemblers through the build process from kickoff to final signoff.
• Wire electrical panels independently without supervision.
• Lead, train, and mentor employees and contractors during onboarding and skills development.
