Job summary

American Products is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift in Strafford, MO. You will perform electrical wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures, reading blueprints and diagrams, and testing finished wiring.

We value hands-on work, safety, and teamwork. The role requires 2–3 years of electrical or manufacturing experience, the ability to read shop documentation, and a keen eye for detail. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electrical or manufacturing experience (or related training/certification).
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and shop documentation.
• Experience bending conduit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Test finished wiring and troubleshoot as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to assemble products.
• Inspect materials and finished work for quality standards.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Rotate between workstations as needed to support production.

2nd Shift Product Assembler Pay: $20-21 per hour + $2/hr shift differential Training Shift: Tuesday- Friday 5:30am-3:30pm Primary Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Active, hands-on role: standing, walking, lifting, and assembling throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move materials as needed
• Requires use of hands, tools, and equipment regularly
• Must follow all safety procedures, including wearing steel toe boots and safety glasses
