Job summary

American Products in Strafford, Missouri is hiring a 2nd Shift Product Assembler to build electrical shelters and enclosures. This hands-on role supports production with quality, safety, and craftsmanship at the core.

You will read blueprints, install wiring and components, test workmanship, and prepare finished products for shipment. Training shift is Tue-Fri 5:30am-3:30pm; primary shift is Mon-Thu 3:30pm-1:30am; full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of electrical or manufacturing experience (or related training/certification).
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and shop documentation.
• Experience reading tape measures and working with precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring and component installation on shelters and enclosures.
• Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
• Test finished wiring and troubleshoot as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to assemble products.
• Inspect materials and finished work for quality standards.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Rotate between workstations to support production.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Active, hands-on role: standing, walking, lifting, and assembling throughout the shift
