Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a production-oriented handler to assist in installing and testing electrical components and systems at our Franklin, Wisconsin facility.

The role involves mounting components, routing cables, and wiring terminations, along with troubleshooting control panels and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 2–3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Mount electrical components, route cables and wire terminations.
• Review drawings, cut sheets and termination sheets for secure connections.
• Troubleshoot control panels to ensure proper function.
• Identify and report issues with the assembly process to supervisor.
• Prepare parts for sub-assemblies and cut wires per wiring diagrams.
• Use power tools accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with Production Lead to meet SOPs.
• Follow all safety policies.

Position Description

Assist in the installation and testing of electrical components/systems by being able to:

• Mount electrical components, route cables and wire termination of components
• Review electrical drawings, cut sheets, and termination sheets to ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly installed
• Troubleshoot control panels to ensure they are functioning properly
• Identify and report issues or concerns with the assembly process to team lead/supervisor
• Prepare parts for sub-assemblies and cut wires according to wiring diagrams and schematics provided
• Use power tools accurately and safely
• Partner with the Production Lead to meet standard operation procedures
• Ensure safety policies are followed
