Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company is seeking skilled Electrical Assemblers to join our team in Willoughby, OH. You will perform electro-mechanical production assembly, wiring components, and subassemblies to NEC standards on a four‑10 hour shift schedule with overtime opportunities based on demand.

Responsibilities include reading schematics and blueprints, testing assemblies, and recording labor data in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent and two years related assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints, production/assembly instructions, parts lists, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
• Able to apply previous experience and sound assembly techniques to perform detailed written or oral instructions.
• Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical or mechanical systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to NEC standards.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
• Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
• Inform supervisor/lead of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
• Inspect or test wiring installations and assemblies for product conformance.
