Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing Company is seeking skilled Electrical Assemblers to join our team in Willoughby, OH. You will perform electro-mechanical production assembly, wiring components, and subassemblies to NEC standards on a four‑10 hour shift schedule with overtime opportunities based on demand.

Responsibilities include reading schematics and blueprints, testing assemblies, and recording labor data in the ERP system.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent and two years related assembly experience.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints, production/assembly instructions, parts lists, verbal instruction and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
Able to apply previous experience and sound assembly techniques to perform detailed written or oral instructions.
Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical or mechanical systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to NEC standards.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
Inform supervisor/lead of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
Inspect or test wiring installations and assemblies for product conformance.
