Job summary

BW Papersystems is seeking an Electrical Assembler to install, wire, assemble, and test electrical components on company equipment in our Sheboygan facility. You will read complex schematics, perform precise wiring and terminations, and support machine testing.

The role requires teamwork, strong troubleshooting, and reliable attendance, with overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Job Description:

The Electrical Assembler installs, wires, assembles, and tests electrical components and control systems on company-produced equipment. The role requires the ability to read complex electrical schematics, perform precise wiring and terminations, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support machine testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
• Assemble and wire control panels, switch boxes, terminal boards, and electrical systems.
• Check wiring for proper coding, continuity, shorts, grounds, and terminations.
• Participate in machine testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Identify quality, material, and design issues and recommend improvements.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Lead, coach, and train less-experienced team members.
• Maintain workflow, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of electrical assembly or related industrial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and components.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
