Job summary

BW Papersystems is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler / Electrician to join our Kentucky operations. You will work on large, custom-built machinery, reading wiring diagrams, assembling and wiring components, and integrating subassemblies to bring finished equipment to life.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within a global manufacturing leader and contribute to on‑time delivery and continuous improvement in a high-demand production

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years electrical wiring or installation experience, and/or 2-year degree or certification in electrical systems with 2+ years of experience.
  • Able to read wiring diagrams and install electrical components accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving and clear communication in a team setting.
  • Willingness to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders
  • Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures
  • Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards
  • Inspect wiring for coding accuracy, proper termination, continuity, and identify shorts or grounds
  • Assist in testing completed machines and troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Document work to meet quality and production requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve quality, cost, or production challenges
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper care of tools & equipment
  • Multi‑task and shift priorities as needed throughout the day

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders
  • Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures

Essential Functions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
  • Ability to understand wiring diagrams and troubleshoot basic electrical issues
  • Solid problem‑solving skills and clear communication
Basic Qualification & Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of electrical wiring or installation experience AND/OR 2-year degree or certification in electrical systems with 2+ years of experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $23/HR - $33/HR. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
