Job summary

BW Papersystems in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Electrical Assembler to install, wire, assemble, and test electrical components on our capital equipment. The role requires reading complex schematics, precise wiring, and troubleshooting to support machine testing.

You will read schematics, assemble panels, document production activities, and work with cross-functional teams. We value safety, reliability, and strong teamwork; experience with hand and power tools is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of electrical assembly or related industrial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and components.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
• Assemble and wire control panels, switch boxes, terminal boards, and electrical systems.
• Check wiring for proper coding, continuity, shorts, grounds, and terminations.
• Participate in machine testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Identify quality, material, and design issues and recommend improvements.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Lead, coach, and train less-experienced team members.
• Maintain workflow, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and support process improvements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime as required.

Job Description:

The Electrical Assembler installs, wires, assembles, and tests electrical components and control systems on company-produced equipment. The role requires the ability to read complex electrical schematics, perform precise wiring and terminations, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support machine testing.
